What Funding a Cohort Really Looks Like… From Day One to Progression
Funders and partners often ask: “What does a programme actually look like?”
Here’s what funding a cohort through Poducation CIC could look like… in practical, real-world terms.
The Poducation model
Poducation CIC delivers a structured programme supporting NEET individuals of any age.
Example
One delivery model includes:
6 cohorts
6 weeks per cohort
up to 10 participants per cohort
Small groups are important. They create a safe space, better support, and better outcomes.
Week-by-week outcomes
Every cohort is delivered step-by-step, in a way that builds confidence and skills gradually.
Week 1: Confidence + connection
Participants settle in, feel supported, and start speaking up.
Week 2: Communication + teamwork
Listening, working together, sharing ideas.
Week 3: Digital confidence
Using tools, planning content, building capability.
Week 4: Creating and recording
Taking action, trying things, overcoming nerves.
Week 5: Editing and improving
Learning patience, resilience, and pride in progress.
Week 6: Completion and next steps
Finishing the project, building a portfolio, mapping progression.
What participants leave with
This is not just “attendance”. Participants achieve real outcomes.
They leave with:
a completed audio project (within a safe brief)
a show plan and episode structure
a certificate of completion
evidence of skills and progress
improved confidence and motivation
clearer next steps towards training or work
Why this works
The biggest change is often internal.
People go from:
“I can’t”
to
“I actually can.”
That shift changes everything.
What your funding creates
When you fund a cohort, you create:
access to digital learning
a safe supportive environment
measurable outcomes and progression
confidence that lasts beyond the programme
This is impact you can see… and hear.
